What will I be doing?

This role’s mission is to implement, manage and optimize the recruitment operation process of the new Recruitment business. This role will require somebody with extensive experience of detailed operation management, ideally from a start-up environment. Experience in healthcare/NHS with an existing network of NHS contacts would be a plus. Any knowledge of healthcare recruitment would also be beneficial. You will be an experienced and strategic operations manager, with the role requiring you to have full responsibility in recruitment operations to drive productive, efficient and speedy processes. You will become a core-member of a start-up team tackling various tasks to drive the new business to success. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with driving your own tasks from a standing start. You will have a strong grasp of the business requirements and goals. You will influence other members (both internal and external) to help them deliver their responsibilities in time and ultimately reach the business objective.  You are an expert in PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) pursing operational excellence, and will have superb analytical skills of statistics and proven, demonstrable track record in operation management and meeting/exceeding targets.  It is essential to have a start-up attitude, with getting things done in a fast-paced environment and having an attitude to do whatever it takes to deliver results.

What skills and experience are required?

  • Execution and managing of day-to-day recruitment operations (e.g. contacting and
  • engaging doctors, data maintenance, document collection, partnering with primary
  • and secondary care settings)
  • Monitoring and analysing the current recruitment operation process/performance by
  • placing and measuring effective KPIs using appropriate systems, tools, and
  • techniques. Ensure to meet all operational KPIs
  • Ensure PDCA is in place and work out a strategy for improving operational processes
  • when necessary
  • Analyse necessary data and statistics as required
  • Ensuring that all tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Create and manage quality assurance/customer satisfaction programs
  • Research new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
  • Create reports and periodically update/escalate to management as appropriate
  • Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders. When
  • appropriate/necessary, visit doctors/be on-site at primary/secondary care settings
  • Perform risk management to minimize business risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Keep up to date with the latest moves in the market place and share with the team
  • Develops knowledge of terms of business and service requirements to improve and
  • uphold business standards. Ensures compliance of all instructions, procedures and
  • policies
  • Contributes to a wider scope of work within the team on an ad-hoc basis where
  • necessary
  • Hire and manage Junior Healthcare Customer Consultants (in the future)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A network of NHS contacts, including primary, secondary care and private
  • Background or understanding of web technologies and digital marketing
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment
  • Knowledge of e-rostering/rota management
