Who will I be working for?

My client are a fantastic organisation who are part of a successful global company. They have lovely modern offices and offer a supportive and dynamic environment with lots of opportunity for progression. 

What will I be doing?

This role will require somebody with extensive experience of business-to-business sales ideally in a healthcare/NHS environment with an existing network of NHS contacts. Experience in healthcare recruitment is also essential.

You will be an experienced and strategic account manager, with the role requiring you to have full account management responsibility ,delivering and developing new customers. For my client, you will also become a core-member of a start-up team tackling various tasks to drive the new business to success. My client is building a new service that drives workforce efficiencies by directly connecting doctors with vacant shifts in primary and secondary care settings. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with driving your own pipeline from a standing start ,including making cold sales calls. You will have a strong grasp of the required sales cycles within healthcare and other public-sector environments having undertaken similar responsibilities in previous roles. You will have experience in writing and managing tenders. You will have excellent presentation skills and proven, demonstrable track record in closing sales and meeting/exceeding targets. It will also be critical to have a start-up attitude, with getting things done in a fast-paced environment and having an attitude to do whatever it takes to deliver results.


What skills and experience are required?

  • Experience of selling into the NHS, including at board level
  • Experience in Healthcare recruitment
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets consistently and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in writing, managing and winning tenders
  • Experience of effectively managing and maximising customer accounts
  • People management experience
  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Strong with numbers and attention to detail
  • Effective communication, negotiation, networking and presentation skills
  • Good forward planning and organisational skills
  • Impeccable time management and flexibility in the role
  • Self-motivated, driven, positive and able to use own initiative
  • An outgoing and confident approach
  • Commercially aware
  • Proficient using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Driving license required with access to a car, able to travel including overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

  • A network of NHS contacts, including primary, secondary care and private
  •   5+ years of selling recruitment business into the NHS
  •  4+ years of work experience in healthcare recruitment
  •  Knowledge of e-rostering/rota management
