Senior Account Manager - Oxfordshire

What will I be doing?

The Senior Account Manager will be the principal contact for their assigned clients, providing day-to-day leadership while reviewing and improving the strategic and tactical direction of the accounts alongside senior team members. They will work pro actively to maximise the potential of accounts by working closely with the Business Director on new business opportunities and facilitating the organic growth of existing accounts.

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, gaining an in-depth understanding of their business issues
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through regular close contact, including face-to-face meetings, telephone and e-mail communication
  • Build and maintain relationships with mid & senior-level clients
  • Work with the Business Director to identify renewal opportunities within existing clients; supporting the creation of proposals
  • Work with the Business Director to ensure insights and robust recommendations are regularly shared with the client.
  • Work closely with the Programme Management and Client Services team to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest level of service and excellent delivery of campaigns; monitored quarterly
  • Line management and mentoring of junior members of the team to develop client management skills
  • Actively discuss opportunities within the team to increase the services offered to your portfolio, increasing the revenue generated from it
  • Work closely with the Programme Management team to support in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and meet KPIs.

What skills and experiences are required?

  • Educated to Degree level, or equivalent
  • Proven ability of building strong client relationships and surpassing expectations
  • Experience of presenting to clients
  • Experience in supporting the creation of proposals for client
  • Experience in managing campaigns, co-ordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines to achieve objectives
  • Knowledge of the online channel

What else do I need to know?

This role is based on Milton Park in modern offices with parking facilities.

The role is permanent and full-time 37.5 hours per week, regular working days Monday to Friday, flexibility in hours of duty may be required subject to operational requirements.
