Key Account Development Executive - Oxfordshire

What will I be doing?

We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Development Executive to join a successful sales team.

You will be responsible for the management, development and growth of existing key accounts across academic, government and commercial markets in France.

This role will also include targeting new business within start-up and established companies in the commercial sector in France.

You will be a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative and have great energy and enthusiasm. You will be skilled at building long term relationships and have a background in technical sales, solutions and services. A mix of both technical and sales knowledge would be perfect, as well as a love for cutting-edge technology.

 Duties include:

  • Execution of day-to-day sales and marketing strategies to achieve set targets
  • Development of Key Account relationships to build usage and sales
  • Pro-active detailed account planning and execution across customer base to produce continued account growth
  • Co-ordinating with marketing and technical teams to arrange customer demonstrations, training courses, roadshows and other events
  • Regular updating of leads, opportunities and other customer contacts within CRM software in a timely manner

What skills and experience are required

  • French speaker (business fluent considered)
  • Experience of technical sales, solutions, consulting services or other subscription services and software licensing
  • Demonstrable history of sales success and the ability to cross and up-sell
  • 2 years minimum account management experience
  • Ability to thoroughly research existing and potential clients to identify opportunities and potential growth
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Availability to travel within France as required to conduct business meetings
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • A high level of numeracy and attention to detail will be required
  • Good working knowledge of M/S Office, CRM systems and databases

This role is offered as a permanent contract. The hours of work are 9:00am to 5:00pm with a half hour lunch (37.5 hour week).
