International Business Development Executive - Oxfordshire

What will I be doing?

We are seeking a highly motivated sales person to join a growing team. You will be responsible for the management and growth of Sales Partners located across Central Europe.

You will also manage new and existing business in assigned territories in Eastern Europe and the Middle East in academic, government and commercial markets.

This role calls for some experience in technical sales, services and solutions, preferably both via resellers and directly to end users.

Duties include:

  • Management of Sales Partners in assigned territories to achieve set targets
  • Carrying out direct sales planning and activities in assigned territories to hit targets
  • Pro-active detailed account planning and execution across direct and indirect customer base to produce continued account growth
  • Reviewing (on a quarterly basis) the implementation of sales partner Sales and Marketing Plans and results of their marketing activities
  • Co-ordinating with marketing and technical teams to arrange customer demonstrations, training courses, roadshows and other events
  • Regular updating of leads, opportunities and other customer contacts within CRM software in a timely manner
  • Training sales partners on selling products and services, including site licenses, new products, promotions and sales policies

What skills and experience are required

  • Previous experience (minimum 2 years) of technology based solutions, consulting services or other subscription services in channel and direct sales roles
  • Demonstrable history of sales success and the ability to cross and up-sell
  • Ability to thoroughly research existing and potential clients to identify opportunities and potential growth
  • Availability to travel as required to conduct business meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Great planning and organisation skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Target-focused and capable of working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, open-minded and positive attitude with a good sense of humour

What else do I need to know?

This role is offered as a permanent contract. The hours of work are 9:00am to 5:00pm with a half hour lunch (37.5 hour week).

The base salary for this role will £25,000 with an OTE of £43,000.
