What will I be doing?

This position is specifically for a team that will be starting up a brand significant new business in the UK! You will be a motivated and focused individual within a team that reflects these competencies.

  • Develop an understanding of the business environment and create an effective business strategy/plan for the new recruitment business, together with the Head of Careers Services

? Support with budget control and monitoring/tracking of the business P&L

? Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

? Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace

? Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions, features and functionality workshops as required ? Measure project performance/all business KPIs using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

? Successful completion of the project phases (planning, implementation, and operational)

? Ensure resource availability and allocation

? Coordination of internal and external resources for the flawless execution of the business

? Ensuring that all tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and budget

? Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

? Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

? Conduct any data analysis required to help drive the business to success

? Report and escalate to management as appropriate

? Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders

? Perform risk management to minimize project risks

? Scheduling meeting and appointments, prepare documentations for meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions discussed and agreed in meetings

? Assist in hiring new members and on-boarding

? Develops knowledge of terms of business and service requirements to improve and uphold business standards. Ensures compliance of all instructions, procedures and policies

? Contributes to a wider scope of work within the team on an ad-hoc basis where necessary

What will I need to be a success in the role?

  • This role will require somebody with extensive experience of business strategy planning and project management, ideally from a start-up environment.
  • Experience in healthcare would be a plus.
  • You will be an experienced and strategic business strategist, with the role requiring you to have full project responsibility to plan the business strategy together with the Head of Careers and drive each of the project phases to the finish line.
  • You will become a core-member of a start-up team tackling various tasks to drive the new business to success.
  • You will have excellent data analytical skills and proven, demonstrable track record in project management and meeting/exceeding targets, strong with numbers and utilize your strategical and logical thinking, grasp the business requirements/goals and deliver.
  • It is essential to have a start-up attitude, with getting things done in a fast-paced environment and having an attitude to do whatever it takes to deliver results. All members of the business are considered as leaders. You will have the chance to demonstrate your style of leadership and make a difference in the team, company, and most importantly in the world of healthcare.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

1 A track record of delivering ambitious, impacting and successful corporate strategies

2 Proven experience in project management

3 Proven track record on delivering KPIs consistently and meeting deadlines

4 Proven expertise in strategic and logical thinking with analytical skills

5 Strong with numbers and attention to detail

6 Extensive experience with "Mieruka" or visualization

7 Effective communication, negotiation, networking and presentation skills

8 Good forward planning and organisational skills

9 Impeccable time management and flexibility in the role

10 Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

11 Self-motivated, driven, positive and able to use own initiative

12 An outgoing and confident approach

13 Commercially aware

14 Educated to degree level or above

15 PMP certification

16 Proficient using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio, Project

17 A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

1 A network of NHS contacts, including primary, secondary care and private

2 Technical background, with understanding of hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

3 Experience in healthcare recruitment
